The turbulent time that is the Horus Heresy saw death, destruction, the shattering of dreams for mankind, of brother killing brother and son killing father. It was a dark time, but in these dark times, heroes were separated from the common rabble of warriors and men.

And among those men, is the Luna Wolves captain Garviel Loken. Although his entire legion, the Sons of Horus (former Luna Wolves) turned traitor against the Imperium of Man, Loken fought against these traitors even though he and his fellow captains Tarik Torgaddon and Saul Tarvitz were outnumbered and outgunned.

Although they were defeated in that battle, Loken survived and went on to become one of Nathaniel Garro's knight-errands. Later on, as many would believe, Loken, along with his fellow knight-errands became the progenitors of the Grey Knights, and the Deathwatch.

Used Photoshop CS5. And some tea and cake. lol. Speedpaint, an hour or two, i'm not really sure.

Thanks, but to be honest, if you look at the plume its a little skewed, haha. And I can't take credit for it, its MKIV armor(?) in the 40k universe, I didnt design it.

If you're familiar with warhammer 40,000, I guess i just wanted to convey the destruction and all that smoke(lol) that is pretty standard for Astartes warfare. mehehe
